Hi, I'm Megan.

A leadership and executive coach with an obsession for what makes people and organisations tick. I focus on developing the strong middle of organisations - giving managers and high-potential leaders the tools to connect, motivate and engage their teams for high performance.

Why the middle matters

The reality is this: most organisational challenges aren’t process problems, they’re people problems. Processes can be complicated, but humans are what make business truly complex.

 

Talented specialists are often promoted into managerial roles, but expected to navigate a new professional landscape - handling change, strategic responsibility, and the expectation to "just figure it out" when it comes to leading people. Without support, management roles can become confusing, demoralising and chaotic. 

 

I care because I've been there. 

 

I spent over a decade working with some of the world's largest media and advertising organisations, delivering complex programmes, managing teams, and designing processes while navigating constant change. I'm also a certified project and change management practitioner - but whilst I'm more passionate than most about strong processes, I've also seen their limits. 

Leadership requires a new toolkit of skills - it starts with mastering your own psychology. I work with upcoming leaders to build their awareness, their confidence and their resilience so they can manage themselves, their teams and their stakeholders better. 

I develop this critical layer through coaching, training programmes and specialist consultancy to help people leaders be their happiest and most effective.

The mission

To help leaders regain control, building the self-awareness to lead themselves and others better. More autonomy, more clarity, more confidence, more reward. Change ripples outward - from managers, to their teams, and the wider business.

What is The Strong Middle?

It's leadership consulting that is founded on the belief that all systems need a strong, resilient middle to thrive - whether economic, political or social. Businesses are no different.

Managers sit in a unique position in organisations: they oversee the performance and wellbeing of their teams while also interpreting, negotiating and delivering on the expectations of senior leadership - a dual responsibility that often results in stress and burnout. 

When this layer struggles, productivity, engagement, and retention suffer. It's my mission to build the middle up so that they can be in control of their careers, regain some emotional clarity and enjoy the work that they do whilst delivering results.
